The "what's next?" dilemma can be daunting. It's a question that forces us to think about the future, and all the possibilities that lie ahead. But it can also paralyze us with anxiety. We may start to think about all the things that could go wrong, and all the challenges that we'll face. And before we know it, we've talked ourselves out of even trying.

So, how do we go from feeling overwhelmed to feeling like it’s possible?

Here are a few tips:

  • Take some time to reflect. What are your strengths and weaknesses? What are your interests and passions? What are your goals? Taking the time to reflect on these things can help you clarify your thoughts.

  • Don't be afraid to experiment. Once you have a general idea of what you're interested in, don't be afraid to experiment. Try different things, meet new people, and explore new opportunities. The more you do, the more you'll learn about yourself and what you want.

  • Ask for help. If you're struggling to figure out what's next, don't be afraid to ask for help from your friends, family, mentors, or a coach. Talking about what you want will help clarify your goals.

  • It's okay to change your mind. In fact, it's likely that you'll change your mind several times over the course of your life. So don't be afraid to make a decision, even if you're not sure it's the right one. You can always change your mind later.
